Bulk Uninstall Apps on Windows
Bulk uninstalling can save time, but it gets dangerous when an app launches uninstallers without showing what will run. A safer workflow starts with inventory, filters, queue review, and backups.
Safer bulk uninstall workflow
- Scan installed desktop apps, Store apps, startup entries, Windows features, and known package-manager installs.
- Filter by publisher, app name, install location, size, and safety rating.
- Review uninstall commands before running them, especially silent uninstall commands.
- Close matching running apps before uninstalling to avoid half-removed programs.
- Review leftover folders and shortcuts after uninstallers complete.
- Save the uninstall report so future support work is easier.
What Khuna's tool adds
Uninstaller Mode includes queue preview, running-app checks, command analysis, startup backups, uninstall entry backups, leftover quarantine, snapshot comparison, duplicate detection, and cleaner human-readable app labels.
Tip:
Start with obvious trialware and vendor utilities. Avoid removing drivers, runtimes, or security tools unless you know exactly why they are installed.
