About Khuna Labs
Khuna Labs is a small team of friends who have been building personal software, websites, scripts, and other useful projects since about 2003. After years of making tools for ourselves and people close to us, we finally decided to make the work public.
We started where a lot of practical software starts: solving our own problems.
The Khuna Labs name goes back to the original Xbox era, when a few friends were experimenting, learning, and building small utilities and scripts because the tools we wanted either did not exist or did not feel right.
For years, most of that work stayed private: helper scripts, websites, PC utilities, experiments, and small programs passed around between friends. The work was informal, but the habit was serious: build the thing, use it, improve it, and keep it honest.
Original Xbox roots
Friends learning by building small utilities, scripts, and experiments around the hardware and software we cared about.
Tools for ourselves
Websites, helper scripts, PC utilities, and small programs made for real use instead of show.
Public products
Windows tools for secure transfer, local encryption, document organization, cleanup, and practical PC control.
Based out of small-town Jasper, Alabama, Khuna Labs keeps the same practical, hands-on approach that started the name in the first place.
Because useful tools have a way of becoming part of daily life.
The same reasons we built these tools for ourselves still matter. People want their computers to feel less bloated, their files to move safely, their private data to stay local when possible, and their software to be direct about what it is doing.
Khuna Labs is not trying to sound bigger than it is. We are a small group of people who have spent a long time making things because we enjoy it. Publishing this work is our way of taking that seriously.
Our goal is simple: build software that is honest, practical, and worth keeping installed.
