Four required passwords
Each vault lock requires four passwords. Password material is hardened with Argon2id before the vault is written.

Authenticated encryption layers
Locked vault data uses AES-256-GCM layers with per-chunk nonces and tags. External security testing has been reported as passed, with written attestation pending.
Recovery limits are strict
Khuna Labs cannot recover a vault if passwords, a required key file, or a required Windows user/PC profile are lost.
A vault that behaves like normal files while unlocked.
When unlocked, QuadCrypt gives you a small file browser for importing, opening, revealing, deleting, and running files. When locked, the plaintext workspace is removed after the encrypted vault is written.
- Optional key files add a separate local secret.
- Optional PC binding uses Windows DPAPI for the current user profile.
- Encrypted backup and recovery guide tools are built into Options.

What to expect
- The executable is code-signed by Khuna Labs. Windows SmartScreen may still show additional prompts while release reputation builds.
- Do not rely on QuadCrypt as your only copy of important files.
- Unlocked files are normal plaintext files until you lock the vault again.
- Secure deletion cannot be guaranteed on SSDs, cloud-synced folders, backups, or shadow copies.
- Use the recovery guide and encrypted backup tools before storing anything important.
External security testing has been reported as passed, and written attestation is pending. Keep encrypted backups and make sure you can reproduce every required password, key file, and device binding before storing important files.
