Information We Collect

During the public beta, Khuna Labs may collect account email addresses, password hashes, license keys, purchase records, activation status, activation transfer history, update requests, contact refresh requests, basic device or app version information, IP addresses, approximate activation location derived from IP metadata, aggregate website page and download counts, timestamps, and service logs needed to run and troubleshoot paid beta products such as Secure Pair Transfer, QuadCrypt, and PaperPilot.

Messages And Files

Secure Pair is designed so chat messages and file payloads are encrypted by the clients before they pass through the relay. Khuna Labs does not want to store user files on the relay as a normal operating practice.

Local Vaults

QuadCrypt is designed as a local Windows vault. Khuna Labs does not receive vault contents, vault passwords, key files, or local vault paths through normal license activation. Portable QuadCrypt activations use an app-generated activation id rather than a hardware fingerprint.

PaperPilot is designed for local document organization. Khuna Labs does not receive document contents through normal Home-mode use. Paid license, update, account, trial-request, and model-pack catalog features may send account, license, version, and download metadata needed to operate those services.

Local Utilities

Khuna's Windows Cleanup Tool is currently designed as a local Windows utility. It does not require an account and is not designed to send cleanup selections or PC data to Khuna Labs. The website may record aggregate page-view and download counts for the tool so Khuna Labs can understand launch traffic.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to activate licenses, maintain account profiles, maintain pairing records, provide software updates, support self-service activation releases, protect the service, enforce same-site business activation limits, debug beta issues, prevent abuse, and communicate with customers or testers.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate hosting, payment, security, support, or analytics systems, or when required by law.

Retention

We keep operational records only as long as needed for product operation, security, support, legal, and business purposes. Public beta retention settings may change as the service matures.
